Alex Sepasi
Head of Research
Alex Sepasi is the head of research at Saray Capital. He manages the firm’s research function and acts as an analyst.
Previously, Alex was a research analyst at Pembroke Management, a multi-billion-dollar Canadian investment manager focused on long-term investing in high quality small cap equities across the United States and Canada. His sectors of focus included software and fintech.
Earlier, Alex began his investing career as an analyst at Saray Capital, value investing in public equities and distressed bonds across the MENA region and developed markets.
Prior, Alex was a corporate development & strategy associate at Transfast, a cross-border payments business, where he focused on accelerating growth, improving operations and helping to drive a sale of the company, which Mastercard ultimately acquired.
Alex began his career as a deals strategy consultant at PwC, advising companies and GREs in the MENA region on commercial due diligence, feasibility studies and market entry strategies for multi-billion-dollar projects.
Alex has completed all three CFA exams. He graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in finance and concentrating in international business.
