Aaron Heidari
Chief Investment Officer
Aaron is the chief investment officer of Saray Capital and a member of the firm’s executive committee. Aaron joined Saray Capital in 2018 as the head of direct public equities and led the firm’s first investments into distressed and private credit.
Previously, Aaron was a senior analyst with Sancta Capital Group, a value-oriented fund focused on distressed credit and equity special situations. Earlier, Aaron was a senior associate with Eagle Investments, the principal investments arm of National Industries Group – a $4bn investment holding company. While at Eagle, Aaron was responsible for diligence, execution, and monitoring of a growth equity portfolio with $100m of deployed capital in the financial services & fintech sectors. Aaron then joined the internal team at National Industries Group that led its turnaround in 2013, including restructuring $2bn of public bonds and bank loans.
Aaron started his career as a systems engineer at Infogenesis, a financial technology business that was sold to Warburg Pincus in 2005. He currently serves on the board of the Applied AI Company.
Aaron is a CFA charter holder. He graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a BA in Political Science with an emphasis in International Relations.
